So what’s going to be this year’s trends in color?
Actually, I avoid trends as possible. If you base your business on trends that’s all you’ll be…fleeting. But that’s just me!
You don’t need to follow trends however, it can be useful to know what the current ones are to get more inspiration for your handmade business.
2018’s color of the year is called Ultra Violet (18-3838).
This color evokes the secrecies of the universe, the mystery of the future, and the possibilities of new opportunities.
The endless horizon of night sky triggers the mind to wonder the possibilities and continuously encourages ones desire to explore a world aside from ours.
According to Pantone, “The Pantone Color of the Year has come to mean so much more than ‘what’s trending’ in the world of design; it’s truly a reflection of what’s needed in our world today.” – Laurie Pressman, Vice President of the Pantone Color Institute.
