Handmade At Amazon – What To Watch Out For

Craft Maker Pro » Handmade At Amazon – What To Watch Out For

Handmade at Amazon is a store launched last year on Amazon.com for invited artisans to sell their unique, handcrafted goods to hundreds of millions of customers worldwide.

Handmade At Amazon – What To Watch Out ForHandmade at Amazon is a section for handmade products launched in the US last year. And it is now rolling out its handmade portal in all five major Amazon European marketplaces (Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.de, Amazon.fr, Amazon.it and Amazon.es).

So those of you who are based on UK, Denmark, France, Italy and Spain, watch out as you may also get the chance to start selling your handmade products in Amazon.

Soon customers can buy and sell handmade products online, similar to websites as Etsy and German marketplace DaWanda.

But don’t get too excited! Because it is known to be launched officially later in the year yet.

So how to start selling your products on Handmade at Amazon?

Handmade artists who want to sell here, need to create an Artisan Profile Page. That allows users to describe their craft and to show their products with unique pages filled with description texts and accompanying images.

To be invited, all products must meet Amazon’s definition of handmade listed on their FAQ page: “Created, altered or assembled entirely by hand (not from a kit). Products must be handmade by the artisan, by one of their employees or a member of their business.”

Sellers who already sell with Handmade at Amazon in the United States won’t have to reapply into Handmade on the European Amazon marketplaces.
