Do you want to build a website for your craft business? Check Homestead!

45-homesteadToday, in the era of rapidly changing technologies, where more and more users tend to use their computers, having an online store becomes a necessity and Homestead can help you with that!

What Is Homestead?

It is an easy to use site builder that lets you start building a custom, professionally-designed website for your craft business in just a few clicks.

Ease Of Use

Homestead is great if you want to run a website for your craft business. If you consider yourself as a newbie to creating websites, it seems you’ve been designing websites on Homestead for years – it’s very intuitive and uncluttered. It has great editor interfaces and easy to control, such as adding pages, images or blogs. This is done through a standard drag-and-drop interface, but in a way that makes you feel like you’re using something quick and responsive.

Design

Homestead has a great selection of good-looking templates and many of them are specially tailored for the craft industry (photography, cooking, jewelry-making, crafting, etc.). Homestead’s font selection is limited to 14 standard fonts like Times New Roman, Arial, Georgia and the like. You may not find this a major problem but it limits your chances to create a truly personalized website.

Pricing

There is no free version of Homestead but they have a 30 day trial for you to try how Homestead works.

Your 30-day free trial period begins when you click on “Click Here to Finish” during the registration process. After the 30-day trial period, you will automatically be billed $4.99 per month for the Starter package, unless you upgrade to another package during sign-up or after your trial period. If you upgrade to a different package, you will be charged that package’s monthly fee.

Their packages start from $4.99 (Starter) and finish with $59.99 (Business Plus).

To get started, go to Homestead and start creating your craft business’ website.
