Most craft sellers’ mantra is “It’s always better to bring more stock than less stock”. This may be true but sometimes, situations don’t allow us to do this such as having a small craft show booth, having fragile items, etc.
Keep in mind, in this stock preparation stage, you will also have to carry other items in your craft show checklist aside from your products, such as craft show displays, packaging materials, and many more.
If this is your first time to join a craft show you might have to do more research. However, if you are a craft show veteran think about what sells well in those venues. If this is your first time, then consider what your friends and family members say to you or what our customers say when they ordered from your online sore, if you have any.
No matter how much you end up deciding to take with you, it is always convenient to prepare your stocks well in advance. Don’t cram! If you commit a mistake, don’t fret! We all make mistakes and we learn from them.
Don’t forget to take into consideration the length of the craft show. Obviously the longer the fair’s duration, the more stock you should bring with you. Also think about the amount of space you’re allocated and the size of your pieces, you want your stall to look full.
